The Kuhya Kingdom is a small, prosperous overworld kingdom in the universe of Ousama Ranking. It was founded by King Kuhya's father sometime before the start of the series. It is notable for being a relatively low-ranked kingdom.

Bojji and Kage arrived at this kingdom first in their tour across the world.

History[]

Kuhya founder

The first king of the Kuhya Kingdom, said to be a powerful warrior.

The exact location of the Kuhya Kingdom is unclear, but it appears to be in an expansive grassland with no coast, forest, or mountains in sight. It is a city-state kingdom, or a kingdom that consists only of its walled capital city and the surrounding territory it can control.

At the time of its founding it was an exceptionally small kingdom, with only light fortifications and no castle. It has grown substantially larger and wealthier under its second king, the supernaturally lucky King Kuhya, and now boasts a central castle as well as high stone walls.

It is considered exceptionally prosperous for such a small kingdom.

Notable Residents[]

King Kuhya[]

The second king of the Kuhya Kingdom. Kuhya is a small, middle-aged man with a personality quite similar to Bojji. He is a supernaturally lucky individual, and whenever he is in need he immediately meets a person who can help him.

Princess Mehi[]

King Kuhya's only child and current crown princess of the Kuhya Kingdom. Mehi is a whimsical person who has a bad habit of jumping to conclusions, but shares her father's friendly and generous personality.

Commander Sadi[]

The chief military officer of the Kuhya Kingdom, Sadi is a large, unpleasant-looking man who feels very bored and dissatisfied with his peaceful kingdom. He often mimics fights in the castle hallway with his lieutenant Ringi.

In spite of his unsavory personality Sadi is ultimately loyal to his kingdom, though his tactics are more than a little fanciful and absurd.

Lieutenant Ringi[]

Sadi's former second-in-command and constant partner, Ringi appeared to be a relatively good-natured person, but betrayed the kingdom at a pivotal moment.

The Founder/First King[]

King Kuhya's legendary father, once a powerful warrior who was able to establish a kingdom with his strength alone. Not much is known about the first king's personality, save that he seemed to have a good relationship with Kuhya and Mehi.

Trivia[]

  • Kuhya Kingdom's name is likely an anagram of the Japanese word hyaku (ひゃく), meaning 100 as a reference of the kingdom's low ranking.
