Return of the Sword King[]

Riding on a wagon down a road with no tentative destination, Kage and Bojji enjoy the ride and their adventure to wherever the wind takes them. Moments later, they pass by a person who looks oddly familiar, but brush it off as someone who uncannily resembles someone they know.

In the past, Desha follows the Ranking Official to the legendary divine treasure vault, where Desha takes an interest in three swords within a glass case. The Ranking Official claims they're legendary swords with divine words written on them and that their writing changes each time the words appear. Desha believes that if he can decipher the writing, he'll discover a way to break Ouken's immortality curse. However, Desha retracts his previous thought, claiming the swords are cursed and have an unfathomable thirst for blood.

Losing interest in the vault, the Ranking Official leads Desha deeper into the vault. As they move forward, the Ranking Official explains the checkered history of the swords that Desha was shown. They soon enter a room where a corpse is found wearing a full head mask, and three spears plunged into its body. The Ranking Official claims the corpse had long since been there with no known history of its origin. Unbeknownst to the two, several shadowy figures watched them as they progressed.

Finally lead to a room that the Ranking Official claims are "Cells", which contain demons inside them. One of the cells contained a demon girl who could grant Desha's wish. As the unnerved Desha walks away, the Ranking Official asks him if he's rejecting the Demon's wish, but he answers that he's dismissing his men waiting for him at the entrance.

Meanwhile, Despa, accompanied by the Captain of the Order of the Underworld, walks Ouken's decapitated body to the lake where his head is. Desha then contacts Despa and informs him that he's about to make Ouken human again. Despite, Despas' avaricious delusions concerning the vault, he warns Desha to hold off as Ouken has yet to retrieve his lost head. This makes Desha believe the revelation to be a sign for him to reconsider his decision. On the other hand, Despa reassures Desha that Ouken will soon retrieve his head, making Desha smile in assurance.

Despa then allows Captain to loosely unrestraint Ouken so he can retrieve his head from the lake, but amid this, the rope restraining Ouken breaks. Right as it's believed that Ouken is lost forever, a giant catfish emerges from the lake and spits Ouken out with his head reattached to his head. Once informed that Ouken has his lost head back, Desha makes a deal with the demon girl to break Ouken's immortality curse.

Switching over to Despa's side, Ouken, who took off his helmet and had drool running down his mouth, tries to eat a dead rat carcus, but moments later vomits it out. After a brief moment, Ouken regains consciousness and tells his brother and the Captain that he's back to normal. Despa then chastises Ouken for mishandling his sword and techniques, though this was an "act", as Despa put it. He then informs Ouken that their brother Desha broke his curse, and Ouken cries tears of joy over this.

Despa then tries to contact Desha; however, his connection with him is disconnected. The revelation shocks Despa, who recalls his conversation with Desha about getting treasure from the divine treasure vault. A messenger on horseback then arrives, informing the group that King Desha has gone missing since entering the divine treasure vault.

Upon learning this, Ouken takes the messenger's horse and rides it to the divine treasure vault. There, Ouken defeats the golem gatekeepers; he then locates the Demon that granted Desha's wish and is confronted by the Ranking Official, who allows him to speak to his superiors. After Ouken does, he despondently leaves the vault only to face a nameless god that he defeats after the god tries to enter the vault and kill the Ranking Official's superiors.

Afterward, Ouken finds Desha's cape and crown, but Desha is nowhere to be found. Ouken then returns to his men's side and details that Desha sacrificed his memories to break Ouken's immortality curse. Believing that his brother may still be within the area, Ouken orders his men to scour the area as he could still be nearby.

In the present, Bojji and Kage arrive in the Kuhya Kingdom, and immediately, Kage admonishes Bojji from flashing his gold coins around. Bojji recalls what Domas once told him and heeds Kage's advice. The two then head into an inn where Bojji entrusts his bag of gold to Kage, who is humbled by Bojji's trust.
