Bojji the King/The Melancholy of King Daida is the sixth Special Episode of the Ousama Ranking: Treasure Chest of Courage Special series.

Bojji the King[]
Bojji, now the King of Bosse Kingdom, works tirelessly in his newly appointed position. One day, Bebin visits him while Bojji works on some paperwork and asks him whether or not he misses his friend Kage, and he answers no. Hence, Bebin informs him of his plan to conduct a town inspection and invites Bojji to join him, and he agrees. Bebin also has Hokuro join them, despite the young soldier noting how awkward he can be around the surly-looking man.
Down in the town, they encounter a group of three kids with their grandfather, who greet Bojji in sign language. This encounter elates Bojji a lot, who runs away flusteredly, but stops in his tracks when he finds a frog on the street. He would take the frog and place him in the town pond, where Bojji would see a boy his age crying over a couple of goats ripping his clothes apart. Bojji would then hand over his clothes to him. The boy and his friends would then follow Bojji back into town as he paraded down the streets in nothing but his boxers.
Hokuro and Bebin would then regroup with Bojji, and while Hokuro compliments Bojji for his noble deed, Bebin rebukes him because of his title. They would then continue onward and then encounter a couple of young girls who lost their precious bird named Pippy. Recalling his friend Kage, Bojji asks Bebin's permission to help them, and Bebin allows it.
Outside the town, Bojji and his friend earnestly tried to call for Pippy by whistling, and soon Bebin joined them.
Meanwhile, in the nearby forest, Kage eats some bread he had, and its crumbs would attract a small blue bird with a metal collar around its leg. Kage suggests that if it has a home to go to, it'd better return, and it does.
Back to Bojji's group, Bojji uses a blade of grass as a whistle to try and call out to Pippy, and soon everyone does the same. Soon, Pippy arrives at the scene, only to be attacked by a wild bird. Although Bojji wanted to save it, Kage wasn't around to hand his sword to him, so Bebin scares the bird away by tossing a pebble at it.
As the kids they helped that day part ways with Bojji, Hokuro, and Bebin; Bojji's group starts to head back to the castle, but before that, Bebin orders one of his snakes to track down Kage.
The Melancholy of King Daida[]
Because Bojji departed on a journey, his younger brother Daida became the Bosse Kingdom's new King.
Enjoying breakfast in his room with Miranjo, Daida has a heart-to-heart with her. Daida admits they're not highly admired in the kingdom and should take things slowly to change the hearts of their subjects. Sorii then abruptly enters Daida's room and announces that the Ranking Judge will arrive soon. Upon hearing this, Daida requests that The Big Four assemble in the Throne Room, and he'll meet them there shortly.
On his way to the Throne Room, Bebin spots Miranjo running from the Library with a book in hand and has one of his snakes investigate her.
Later, the Big Four listen to Daida's news about the soon-to-arrive Ranking Judge, and he requests that they train him to have the most optimal ranking he can get. Hearing this from Daida surprises The Big Four, who all recall their disdainful interactions with Daida from the past, but agree to his request.
From there on out, Daida assiduously trains with The Big Four. After one of his training sessions, he overhears some frustrated construction workers complaining that their work has been halted. Concerned about the well-being of the workers, Daida plans to consider any ideas to help them and asks two of his helpers to investigate solutions to the problem as well. He then spots Miranjo running past the workers and heading into the forest.
That night, Daida informs, Bebin and Sorii that he plans to visit the town to conduct an inspection.
The next day, Daida, accompanied by Bebin and Sorii, visits the town as Daida talks and mediates any problems with the townsfolk. Soon, Daida witnesses a blind/deaf/mute person fall over, and after Daida helps the man, he writes on Daida's hand, "Thanks", and goes on his way. This encounter made Daida ask Sorii and Bebin whether or not he could live up to the same caliber as his brother.
Returning to the castle, they learn that a construction worker was trapped under some rubble from the demolition process of the former barracks. Arriving at the scene, Daida, Bebin, and Sorii assist the workers to get the rubble off the victim whose arm was broken. Daida then uses his healing magic to heal the worker's arm, and he graciously thanks Daida.
Once that was settled, Bebin received a report from one of his snakes about Miranjo, and they hastily headed to her location at a small cabin in the woods. They find Miranjo teaching the local children how to read, write, and talk in sign language there. Learning about Miranjo's motives behind teaching the children, Daida decides to build a school where the old barracks were. Tearfully, Miranjo thanks Daida for his proposal.
