Zaki (ザキ, Zaki) is a character in Ousama Ranking.
He is a horrifying God that has made an alliance with the Geslan Kingdom through unknown means.
Appearance[]
Zaki appears to be a ghoulish human of above-average height. He has ash gray skin, sunken purple eyelids, white eyes with no discernible pupils, bright green hair, a hunched posture, and his mouth hangs open in a permanent scowl. His legs become indistinct below the knee, where they begin to ripple and flop as though his pant legs are empty.
Zaki wears a tall, unadorned silver crown with extremely sharp, tapered points. His clothing appears to be an inky black jumpsuit over a light pink shirt, with a magenta scarf around his neck. Zaki appears to favor silver jewelry as well, and wears two large, silver bangles around his wrists, as well as a large silver necklace.
Personality[]
In contrast to the fearsome reputation of his race, Zaki appears to be a coward, and is implied to be physically weak. Despite this, he shares the sadistic nature of most Gods, and delights in using his deadly magic on the innocent.
Plot[]
Honored Guest[]
It's unknown how Zaki came to reside in the Geslan Kingdom, but he is referred to as an honored guest of King Geslan himself, and treated with extreme deference by its soldiers.
Zaki does not appear to speak a human language, and instead must be attended to by members of the Light clan at all times. These members seem to be able to understand and interpret Zaki for others.
Zaki apparently chose to attend the Geslan army's attempted overthrow of the nearby Kuhya Kingdom. While there he grew bored waiting at the enemy camp, and chose to use his terrifying magic on nearby victims to pass the time.

King Geslan appears to have entered into some sort of agreement with Zaki, hosting the God in his new kingdom and taking advantage of his frightening powers/visage. The details of this arrangement are unknown.

God of Death[]
Zaki is a God, an incredibly powerful primordial species in the universe of Ousama Ranking. As a God he wields enormous, innate magical power. Zaki's power takes the form of an exceptionally strong death curse. Zaki need only point at his victim to instantly stop their heart.
Though this power is usually fatal, a person can be revived from Zaki's death curse if their heart is restarted via defibrillation.
